The Avion Newspaper is the college newspaper of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. The newspaper has a print circulation of approximately 4,000, and has a history dating back to Embry-Riddle’s earliest days in Miami, Florida.

The newspaper is published weekly during the Fall and Spring Semesters, and bi-weekly during the Summer. The weekly issues during the main semesters normally consist of a 12 page campus section, 4 page sports section, and a 4 page entertainment section. The summer issues range from 4 to 8 pages, depending on availability of content.

Run by students for students, the Avion is staffed purely by volunteers who find time in their busy schedules to keep the campus updated on local happenings. These individuals are the rare few with a passion for journalism in an engineering school and have had opportunities to cover premier events like shuttle launches amongst others.
